How It work? (qoute from Haute Secure Web)
1. The Haute Secure client that stops attacks in real-time
It’s all about our behavior-based profiling algorithms that are installed on your client and is your first layer of protection from malware attacks. They make it possible to identify and stop malware in real-time as it tries to install itself on your computer. We can recognize malware, even if it’s new to the scene or dressed in different disguises. Other security products, like Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware, can’t do this. Their signature-based solutions are built on last decade’s technologies and they can only stop offending software if they’ve seen it before. Criminals have been beating their systems consistently by introducing new malware quickly and by dressing up old ones in new disguises.
2. A distributed real-time malicious link database and a scanning infrastructure that is connected to the client software
An important compliment to the Haute Secure client are the constant updates it receives from our distributed scanning infrastructure and malicious link database. We classify a link as bad once we’ve observed it trying to download malware onto a computer without the user’s knowledge. When you request a site that contains a malicious link in our database, the Haute Secure client on your PC will stop the browser from loading the link and its associated content, adding another layer of protection to stopping malware attacks.
We know the internet is a very big place. That’s why we’ve created a distributed, collaborative scanning infrastructure that harnesses the collective power of our user community. The Haute Secure client not only stops malware attacks on your computer, but it reports blocked malware attacks and the associated content that’s responsible (i.e., ads, photos, widget, blogs, etc) to the malicious database. This in turn gets immediately re-distributed to all clients in the network so they are kept safe.
3. Our unique community approach
Our already powerful system becomes stronger and smarter by allowing others to contribute to its success. In an example of what to expect in the future, we will soon be including malicious content found by others such as security experts and hobbyists joining the fight to stop malware attacks on unsuspecting users. Look for attributions to them in the block pages and warnings.
